Web Application Service
FabTRAC is deployed as a web application service. Rather than making a large capital investment in hardware and software licensing, the client pays a monthly subscription fee to access the service over the World Wide Web.

Database
The FabTRAC system is built using Oracle technology. The database that stores the project data is an Oracle 10G RDBMS and the application server uses Oracle Application Server 10 Enterprise Edition. Combined, these products provide the reliability and security needed to have total confidence in the FabTRAC system.

Security and Disaster Recovery
Fabcon's security and disaster recovery practices, policies, and procedures are fully documented, auditable, and can be provided to a client upon request.

Transfer and Wind Up
A complete copy of all data can be provided to the client at any point in the project. If requested, regular snapshots can be provided so that the client has total confidence in the integrity of the project data.

Open Interface
The FabTRAC database schema is available for clients who wish to develop their own interfaces to the database or use a third-party ad-hoc reporting tool.
