Job Function:
The Planning Lead reports directly to the Business Services Lead for Functional guidance on work processes and system integrity. The Planning Lead’s role is to ensure that the project obtains the quality needed to achieve project goals related to planning. The Planning Lead will provide quality Assurance over the Construction Management Contractor’s planning staff in development and maintaining the Field Schedule to ensure the project is executed in accordance with Project Management System expectations.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Planning Lead include facilitating the use of Project Management Systems within the project. This position is responsible for oversite of plans/schedules, statusing and implementation of project controls systems from the construction management contractor field office to track progress and monitor trends.
- Line responsible for executing planning in compliance with Project Management Systems.
- Monitor activities consistent with plans for Full Funding Plans and make required corrective adjustments in response to deviations from plan
- Assess Management of Change impact for assigned activities
- Monitor and control the Project to agreed plans and processes
- Oversee Construction Management rollup of progressing system and status. Identify corrective actions to enable activities to be brought back on schedule when deviations are observed
- Interface with engineering, execution, Controllers and other Business Services related to functions such as Procurement, Controls and Document Control

- Typically, previous experience in one or more technical disciplines

Qualifications and Experience
- 10-15 years in an engineering or operations assignment
- 15-20 years experience in a variety of project management positions
Other:
Salary Range:
$200,000-$225,000 per annum
