Job Description:
Principle areas of responsibility:
- Foster awareness of and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout all Project members’ work scope.
- Consents and License Monitoring
- Regulatory Development and Reporting.
- Offshore Work Authorizations, ie Sub-sea Installation and Diving Authorizations
- Warranty Survey Co-ordination.
- Reporting the day to day CA activities.
- Liaison with EPC Contractor’s Regulatory Representative. Also support and advise where required.
- RQF Co-ordination and reporting, condition verification and close out.
- Maintain Database and ensure timely close-out of Project RQF’ s .This to include contractor RQF’ s.
- Regulatory Liaison (C-NLOPB and CA)
- Quarterly Meetings
- Document Submissions and correspondence
- Technical queries, etc.
- Regulatory Compliance Matrix Management.
- Monitoring closeout of CNLOPB Conditions and Decision report commitments.
- Monitor Contractor for Regulatory Compliance
- Engineering FEED/Detailed design
- Procurement Activities
- Certifying Authority requirements.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS/BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering ( preferred not essential)
- Minimum 5-10 years experience working with offshore regulatory requirements.
- Good Communication skills.
KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The Certification Coordinators role requires demonstrated experience and skills in:
• Newfoundland/Canadian Offshore regulatory requirements, codes and standards related to offshore
developments.
• Certifying Authority liaison and implementation process.
• Certification requirements, planning and scheduling of third party consents, licenses and approvals
• Regulatory status reporting.
