Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Interface with project design and execution teams to ensure requirements/standards are properly integrated into project designs and implementation plans
- Ensure FEIS, FERC Order and USACE conditions and obligations are incorporated into detailed engineering design
- Involvement with state (Texas/Louisiana) agencies.
- Involvement with AMEC/Paragon during detailed engineering design
- Site specific plans other than HDD (major water bodies, specialty agriculture areas, Big Hill Bayou, Pipe Residential construction (MP 63.1 & 63.2)) review/approval
- Hydro-test plans and water use approvals
- HDD site specific plans review/approval
- Engineering/ROW/Procurement/Paragon/Willbanks Interface and Coordination
- Obtain project permits/licenses/approvals in a timely manner; track/steward the project approvals process and the project's compliance status as needed
Interface: Pipeline Advisor, pipeline engineering, construction, consultant environmental, construction and management.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCES
• Applicants must possess a University degree in Natural or Environmental Sciences, Natural Resource Management,
Engineering or some other technical field related to SHE management.
• Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in the SHE and/or regulatory compliance field
preferably related to a construction or extractive industry project.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills required
• Candidates should have good interpersonal skills, some supervisory/organizational talents, and proven ability to
work in a positive team manner.
• Knowledgeable of FERC regulations.
• Knowledgeable of pipeline regulations in the United States.
