Job Description:
- Assist effort for:
- Project Estimate / Schedule review process through project Gates and Check Points
- Preparation of Check Estimates / Schedules to compare with OBO Operator-prepared submittals
- Ad hoc Estimate / Schedule assessments (verification of project cost & schedule bases)
- Assist Area Supervisor with analysis and planning for C&SD Estimate/Schedule staffing requirements
- Assist Area Advisors with updates of Monthly Project Status Summary Report (PSSR)
- Participate with Area Advisor in capturing cost & schedule lessons learned and best practices
- May assist with Project Controls tools implementation, EMCAPS deliverables, ongoing follow-up and assurance in support of the Project Controls SME / follow-up process
- Promote and facilitate effective communication, teamwork, and alignment among Cost & Schedule Development personnel and others.
Internal Coordination:
- Cost & Schedule Area Supervisors
- C&S Estimating Advisor
- C&S Project Controls Advisor and Subject Matter Experts
- Business Managers assigned to Projects
- C&S Engineering Manager
- C&S practitioners assigned to projects.
External Interfaces:
- Counterparts in EMRE and Chemicals (CPM) project management organizations.
Qualifications:
JOB ATTRIBUTES / CHARACTERISTICS
• Thorough and extensive knowledge of:
- Project controls principles, theories, and concepts
- Client practices, processes, and expectations with respect to project controls
• Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Administration with relevant
experience
• Willing to work overseas in a team environment
• Willing to relocate to required project site
• Adaptability to changing priorities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
