Job Description:

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Quality Assurance Coordinator advises and informs Subproject Manager on Quality Management issues, status    and metrics.
Reporting to the Project Quality Manager (PQM) while ensuring establishment and proper implementation of
   adequate control processes within the subproject Project Team (PT), as stipulated in the Project Plan and the
   Project Quality Plan.
Monitoring and auditing implementation of Project Team Construction Surveillance Programs and Contractors plans
   and procedures.
Utilizes the Procurement Surveillance Program until the Procurement Quality Coordinator (PQC) is brought onto the
   project.

 

 

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering or Science preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience associated with Quality Management in Quality Assurance and Quality Control,
   coordination of quality activities within Engineering, Construction, Commissioning and Start-up projects of various    facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Minimum 5 years experience in management of project quality systems.
• Worldwide experience with contractors and vendors, in particular those involved in the construction of offshore
   and onshore production facilities.
• Strong management skills, extensive QA experience in responsible roles on major oil & gas engineering &
   construction projects.
• Previous experience with auditing quality management systems.
• Experience with facilitating efforts to resolve interface issues and coordinate multiparty QA objectives.
• Experience with project completions and document for operations turnover preferred.
• Knowledge with process driven quality systems.
• Knowledge in auditing procedure and requirements.
• High level of construction knowledge, skill and experience.
• Communication, strategy/planning skills.



Travel / Other:

Trips to Angola required.
