DESCRIPTION

 

Key Reporting Relationships:

    • Reports To: Project Controls Lead
        - Functional Supervisor: C&SD Area Supervisor
    • Positions Supervised:
        - Directly on the Project: None
        - Functional responsibility: None

    • Assist effort for:
        - Project Estimate / Schedule review process through project Gates and Check Points
        - Preparation of Check Estimates / Schedules to compare with OBO Operator-prepared submittals
        - Ad hoc Estimate / Schedule assessments (verification of project cost & schedule bases)
    • Assist Area Supervisor with analysis and planning for C&SD Estimate / Schedule staffing requirements
    • Assist Area Advisors with updates of Monthly Project Status Summary Report (PSSR)
    • Participate with Area Advisor in capturing cost & schedule lessons learned and best practices
    • May assist with Project Controls tools implementation, deliverables, ongoing follow-up and assurance in support        of the Project Controls SME / follow-up process
    • Promote and facilitate effective communication, teamwork, and alignment among Cost & Schedule Development        personnel and others

    • Cost & Schedule Area Supervisors
    • C&S Estimating Advisor
    • C&S Project Controls Advisor and Subject Matter Experts
    • Business Managers assigned to Projects
    • C&S Engineering Manager
    • C&S practitioners assigned to projects

External Interfaces:

    • Counterparts in Client and Chemicals (CPM) project management organizations

 

 

Qualifications:


Job Attributes / Characteristics:

    • Thorough and extensive knowledge of:
        - Project controls principles, theories, and concepts
       
- Client practices, processes, and expectations with respect to project controls
    • Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Administration with relevant
   
   experience
    • Willing to work overseas in a team environment
    • Willing to relocate to required project site
    • Adaptability to changing priorities
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
