Job Description:
DESCRIPTION
KEY TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Analyze monthly actual to plan operating expenditures and facilitate development of forecast information.
- Develop monthly operating expenditures accruals.
- Day to day interface with Operations personnel to ensure costs accurately reflect business activity.
- Prepare monthly cost reports with detailed variance analysis for Management.
- Prepare monthly manpower reports.
- Participate in Annual Budget preparation process.
- Provide controls & financial guidance to Business Unit.
Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL SET AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
• University degree with a concentration in accounting or technical school diploma with a Professional Accounting
Designation and related (min 5-7 years) experience preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Astute business / financial controls / financial stewardship skills/experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to understand and interact with diverse groups.
• Effective communication skills both oral and written with the ability to communicate through electronic medium.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Applications .
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment which expects the highest level of customer service, moral and ethical
behaviors.
• SAP experience preferable.
