Title/Position: Drilling Engineer

Work Description:


Individual will be responsible for performing engineering design work for Chad wells. Specifically, the engineer would assist in-country rotating engineers in their planning of the ongoing two-rig drilling program (current drilling program mainly consists of ~6,000' vertical production and injection wells), as well as work with Houston and Chad-based staff in analyzing and planning deviated wells currently under consideration; this will require engineering analysis to determine any rig or drillstring upgrades needed to execute a deviated well program.

Qualifications:


• B.S. Engineering / 10+ years drilling experience
• Should have directional drilling experience.
• A good working knowledge of rig equipment and drillstring design for directional drilling.

Travel / Other:

• May require occasional (~2 one-week trips per year) visits to Chad drilling site.
